My Approach

Attention to detail

When I work with a client, I do so with a singular focus, doing the job well. I bring an extraordinary attention to detail, relentless persistence, and a curiosity that causes me to question things others overlook.

That curiosity has shaped my career. I began by studying residential real estate, expanded into commercial investment analysis, became a Managing Broker, and eventually found myself writing about the systems that shape the profession.

Real estate is more than a job or a career; it’s something I’m connected to and endlessly fascinated by. No two homes are alike, and no two clients arrive with the same priorities. That’s what keeps the work interesting. If there were ever an industry for the endlessly curious, it’s this one.

When I'm not selling homes, I'm usually talking or writing about real estate.

Writing

I’m the author of Leadership in Real Estate and Managing the Customer Experience, both published by Routledge | Taylor & Francis.

Writing allowed me to organize years of experience into ideas that could be tested, challenged, and used by others.

Teaching

I teach in the Home Builder Licensing program at the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT), where I help future builders understand the legal, financial, and customer service responsibilities of the construction industry.

Teaching challenged me to explain complex ideas clearly and to defend the reasoning behind them.
