Am I Qualified?

Recently, while working on one of my projects, I was confronted with a fair and pointed question: Are you qualified to write this book?

It’s a question that has lingered in my mind for a while, and after much reflection, I’ve finally arrived at an answer: It depends.

If you’re looking for a book that offers a perfect solution to all your challenges, then no—I’m not qualified. No one is. But if you’re open to fresh perspectives and a new idea or two, then yes, I do have something to say that might make sense.

The truth is, life is complex and nuanced. Solving challenges requires time, patience, research, perspective, and—most importantly—feedback. Solutions don’t appear in isolation; they emerge through conversations, thought, and collaboration. We start, we stop, we try, we fail, and then we try again.

No single person has all the answers. No one can be the sole voice of reason.

But the good news is that We don’t have to be.

When someone pursues a degree, they read hundreds of thousands of pages written by countless authors. No single text defines their education; rather, it’s the collective wisdom of many. The same applies here—I am not the expert. I am one of many in a vast, knowledgeable community.

So when I write, I invite you to engage with my perspective. But I also encourage you to challenge it, seek other viewpoints, and form your own conclusions. And when you’re ready, I welcome you to come back and share your thoughts.

Because as much as I have to offer, so do you. And so does everyone else.

It’s the collective knowledge of all of us that shapes the world—not just the voice of one.
