Welcome 2023!
2022 has been a wild ride. Personally, it’s been a challenging year as I’ve dealt with recovering from surgery, experiencing a flood, and navigating a move on a moment’s notice.
Professionally it’s been productive as I’ve upgraded my training to include commercial property sales, completed my managing broker’s license, and graduated from University.
2022 has taught me just how random life can be. I’ve learned that no matter how well-prepared you are, the world can surprise you with something out of the blue. This year has taught me to approach things with a little more flexibility and to be more open to the unfolding of things.
My New Year’s resolution for 2023
To grant myself and others more grace.
I intend to accept my mistakes as well worn battle scars picked up along life’s many journeys. I will try to let the little things slide and move forward with hope and optimism. I also plan to find you to be enough just the way you are while fully enjoying the fact that you aren’t perfect.
We easily forgive others for their imperfections; in fact, these idiosyncrasies are our favorite parts of each other, but we expect perfection from ourselves.
I say no more of this; I propose that in 2023 we should be flawed together; it’s more fun that way, anyway.
This new year I plan to move on from the past and start anew with you at my side.
I hope you and your family have a Happy New Year and that you start filled with hope and optimism.
