10 year Master Medallion Member

Experienced

Real estate is about more than just transactions—it’s about trust, timing, and helping people move forward with confidence. I’m a proud realtor with over 20 years of experience, and I consider it a privilege to support clients through some of the most important decisions of their lives. I love what I do, and I approach each purchase and sale with a deep sense of care, responsibility, and professionalism.

Most of my work is focused in Surrey, Langley, and across the Fraser Valley—regions I know well, having lived in Langley my entire life. I’ve had the honour of consistently ranking among the top 10% of agents in the Fraser Valley for over a decade, earning Master Medallion status through the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board.

Over the years, I’ve developed particular expertise in areas like the Strata Property Act, the Residential Tenancy Act, estate sales, foreclosures, title reviews, and contract writing.

In addition to working with clients, I design and teach real estate courses for the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) and the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board. At BCIT, I instruct in both the School of Construction and the School of Marketing, teaching classes on legal issues, small business development, and customer service. At the board level, I develop and lead professional development courses for licensed real estate professionals in areas such as marketing, customer care, and legal compliance.

I’m also the author of an upcoming book on leadership in real estate, to be published by Taylor & Francis, a global academic publisher. The book focuses on recruitment, retention, and brokerage leadership, drawing on my years of experience helping organizations grow through thoughtful, relationship-based strategies.

Educated

I’m a lifelong learner with a passion for education and a desire to be the best version of myself. I believe that staying curious, humble, and committed to growth is one of the most powerful ways to show up for my clients and students alike.

I’m currently completing my Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Carleton University with a focus on change management—there’s no industry more dynamic than real estate, and that’s part of what I love about it. My education helps me navigate shifting markets, evolving regulations, and changing client needs with clarity and creativity.

I’m also pursuing an Associate Certificate in Education through BCIT’s Polytechnic Education program. This training supports my work as an instructor and curriculum developer, helping me create meaningful learning experiences for adult learners in both academic and professional settings.

I’m licensed as an Associate Broker and hold the Managing Broker’s license—the highest level of real estate licensing in British Columbia.

My academic background includes a Bachelor of Business Administration from Kwantlen Polytechnic University, where I specialized in Entrepreneurial Leadership with a focus on strategic business analysis, digital marketing, and managing service-based organizations. I also hold a Diploma in Accounting and spent time working in an accounting firm preparing full-cycle financial statements—an experience that gave me a strong foundation in numbers and an eye for detail.

To support my commercial real estate work, I’ve also completed the full Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) curriculum, which includes advanced training in financial, market, investment, and user analysis for commercial transactions.

Involved in the Community

I’ve spent my life in British Columbia and feel deeply connected to the communities I serve. I live in Langley with my husband and our two children, and I’m a proud advocate for mental health—supporting local initiatives alongside my husband, Jordan Penner, a Registered Clinical Counsellor who operates a private practice in Cloverdale.

I’m also committed to giving back to the real estate profession through leadership, education, and governance. I currently serve on the Legal Defence Committee for the BC Real Estate Association, the Professional Conduct Committee with the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board, and I serve on the Board of Directors for the FVREB Managing Brokers Council. I also contribute to higher education serving on the Board of Directors and Audit Committee Member for the KPU Alumni Association—giving back to the university that helped shape my own journey.

As someone with a strong reputation for real estate advisory and investment expertise, I strive to bring both local insight and a values-driven approach to everything I do. My goal is always to ensure clients feel informed, supported, and set up for long-term success—not just in real estate, but in life.
